The UC Hastings College of the Law board of directors voted to cooperate with a pending name change for the school.
Tuesday’s vote came in response to renewed scrutiny on the legacy of the school’s founder and namesake, Serranus C. Hastings. The school did not announce any position on what the new name should be.
