Ex state beverage control attorney loses whistleblower suit

Dean R. Lueders, represented by Siegel, Yee, Brunner & Mehta in Oakland, was a staff attorney for the regulatory agency from 2001 until 2016. He said he was fired after drawing attention to improper communications between the agency’s prosecutors and its director.
