Juvenile lawbreakers in LA County will face victims to avoid charges

The program allows victims to participate in a way they cannot in the juvenile justice system, where they are not allowed to attend proceedings. They will be able to interact with the juvenile officers.

Juvenile lawbreakers in Los Angeles County will now be able to avoid criminal charges if they complete a pre-filing diversion program that includes participation by their victims.
