Trader Joe's should stop selling five food products that contain well beyond California's maximum lead limit for daily consumption, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Wednesday.
One of these foods, Trader Joe's Super Spinach Salad, has more than 50 times the allowable limit in a single serving, according to the complaint filed in superior court under Proposition 65, California's toxic substance law.
