Judge tosses antitrust lawsuit against Uber

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey S. White found that Flywheel Taxi failed to sufficiently allege that there are barriers to entry for competitors and barriers to expansion for existing rivals, pointing to the existence of Lyft.

Uber will not have to face claims it violated antitrust laws in a lawsuit accusing it of undercutting competitors using billions of dollars in venture capital, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
