Schiff Hardin and Arent Fox announce merger next spring

ArentFox Schiff will consist of more than 600 legal professionals focusing on finance and corporate litigation for clients in the real estate, beverage, food, health, life sciences, sports and entertainment industries.

Law firms Arent Fox LLP and Schiff Hardin LLP announced Wednesday a merger to become effective next spring, with California offices opening in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The firms will join to become ArentFox Schiff on March 1, 2022.

For both firms, a major impetus for the merger has been to gain a greater foothold in the California legal market.
