No trial date yet in union’s suit against LA DA
The Association of Deputy District Attorneys says that District Attorney George Gascón is bypassing eligible prosecutors for promotion and appointing former public defenders, who are also political supporters, to high ranking prosecutorial positions.
LOS ANGELES -- A superior court judge on Friday postponed setting a trial date in a prosecutors union's lawsuit against District Attorney George Gascón over his hiring practices pending the county's motion to stay.
