Facebook sued for $150B, accused of part in Rohingya genocide
The complaint was filed in San Mateo County Superior Court and the plaintiffs are seeking compensatory damages for wrongful death, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress and loss of property.




Meta Platforms Inc., formerly known as Facebook Inc., was sued for $150 billion on Monday by a class of Rohingya Muslims who accuse the social media platform of contributing to the genocide against them when it enabled and facilitated hate speech, misinformation and incitements of violence.
