San Diego white supremacist sentenced to life plus 30 in federal prison

“All people deserve to live and worship peacefully,” Attorney General Merrick B. Garland said in a written statement.

A San Diego man who shot up Chabad of Poway in 2019 killing one woman and wounding three others, including an 8-year-old girl, was sentenced Tuesday to life plus 30 years in prison.

John Timothy Earnest, 22, admitted that he also set fire to the Dar-ul-Arqam mosque in Escondido.
