9th Circuit affirms ruling upholding state’s net neutrality enforcement

Attorney General Rob Bonta said Friday, “This battle isn’t over yet, but today’s victory should send a clear message: We won’t stop fighting to protect Californians’ access to a fair and open internet.”

Internet service providers can't block California's net neutrality law, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday, affirming a district court's denial of a preliminary injunction.

The service provider's bid to block Attorney General Rob Bonta from enforcing the state's net neutrality law was rejected last year by U.S. District Judge John A. Mendez in Sacramento.
