Lawyers for woman suing Leon Black want John Quinn sanctioned

Black’s legal team sued the woman and her law firm, Wigdor LLP, of racketeering and defamation. They later amended that complaint to delete the racketeering claim and Quinn has left the case.

Lawyers for a former model who says investor Leon Black sexually harassed and abused her now say Black's lawyer, John B. Quinn, should be sanctioned for accusing them and their client of racketeering and defamation.

Quinn, a founder of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in Los Angeles, withdrew on Jan. 24 from Black's case. He said in a statement the sanction request is ridiculous and without merit.
