Covington & Burling will investigate LA county’s contracting policies

Procedures came into question after Mark Ridley-Thomas, who sat on the board of supervisors from 2008 to 2020, was indicted on bribery charges in October.

Los Angeles County hired Covington & Burling LLP to investigate it's contracting policies and major service contracts in light of the federal bribery indictments facing former Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, the county announced Thursday.
