Talks about DA investigations of San Francisco police resume

In a joint statement Monday, Attorney General Rob Bonta, Mayor London Breed and City Attorney David Chiu said they were committed to helping the DA and police chief negotiate a new memorandum of understanding this week.

Following weeks of tension, a new agreement over the independent investigation of police use of force incidents in San Francisco is being negotiated between District Attorney Chesa Boudin and Police Chief Bill Scott.
