Congratulations to Jerold Fagelbaum for his very insightful article about preliminary injunction awards issued by “one and done” arbitrators, and the fact that those awards are “awards’’ within the meaning of CCP section 1283.4 and thus are subject to immediate judicial review pursuant to CCP section 1285 et seq. for purposes of vacating, correcting, or confirming the award and to subsequent appellate review pursuant to CCP section 1294.
