After two years of federal-state environmental justice initiatives, are state attorneys generals letting the feds do all the work?
When the Biden administration assumed office in January 2021, advocates heralded a new era of environmental justice. EPA defines environmental justice as "fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies."
