Council to review whether Tracy city attorney practiced while suspended

Tracy Mayor Nancy Young called for an emergency city council meeting Monday to review whether City Attorney Bijal M. Patel did legal work during the month she was suspended.

After Tracy City Attorney Bijal M. Patel was suspended by the State Bar on July 1 for MCLE noncompliance and was reinstated on Aug. 1, the City Council will review on Monday whether she did any work during the month she was listed as inactive.
