LA County must go to trial in lawsuit over homeless

Los Angeles County will head to trial in the coming months to defend a major housing lawsuit after a federal appellate court refused to dismiss the case.
A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel’s two-page order on Friday said the county had not “demonstrated a clear and indisputable right to the extraordinary remedy” of a writ of mandamus.
