KISS can’t escape lawsuit over COVID-19 lapses

The band’s former hairdresser said Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, as well as manager “Doc” McGhee, failed to institute adequate COVID safety measures during tours in 2021 and 2022.

Members of the rock band KISS failed to halt a lawsuit by a former member of their touring crew who claimed labor code violations and lax COVID-19 practices.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Armen Tamzarian on Tuesday rejected defense counsel’s arguments that many of the claims referred to violations outside California.
