Tracy city attorney defends 1-month license suspension

“I didn’t think I was violating anything. I thought I was actively working with the bar association to solve the payment issue. I’m not the first person who has lapsed in payment of a fee,” Bijal M. Patel stated.

Tracy City Attorney Bijal M. Patel, whose license was suspended a month for MCLE noncompliance, stated Tuesday that she did nothing wrong and is “not the first person who has lapsed in payment of a fee.”
