Orange County DA will prosecute judge in wife’s murder
"We received notification from the attorney general that we don't have a conflict, and we need to proceed as the prosecuting agency," said Kimberley Edds, a spokesman for the Orange County district attorney. "We haven't filed charges. We're still waiting for information from the police department."




Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer will prosecute the homicide case against Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson, a former deputy district attorney who was arrested on suspicion of his wife’s shooting death in their Anaheim home. But where the case is going to be heard is not yet known.
