Ex-bar board chair cleared of misconduct in Girardi discipline case

A State Bar investigation has absolved former Board of Trustees Chair Sean Selegue of wrongdoing in a disciplinary matter againstThomas Girardi but said the probe has revealed areas where all board members and officials can do better.

A State Bar investigation cleared former State Bar Board of Trustees Chair Sean M. SeLegue of any wrongdoing during a 2010 discipline case against now-disbarred and federally indicted plaintiff’ attorney Thomas V. Girardi, the agency announced Wednesday.
