Bar prosecutors oppose pause in John Eastman’s discipline trial

“Respondent has not been charged with a crime, he has not received a target letter, and none of the Trump indictment’s allegations regarding respondent’s conduct and potential status as a co-conspirator has changed his status in a material way,” wrote State Bar supervising attorney Duncan Carlin.

State Bar prosecutors opposed former Donald Trump attorney John Eastman’s request to pause disbarment proceedings against him in light of a possible federal criminal indictment because they argue there is no change in his situation,
