Palos Verdes fails to bifurcate case from menacing surfers’
The outcome of the case could expand liability for municipalities for conduct within their jurisdiction.
Lawyers for Palos Verdes Estates on Friday told a Los Angeles County judge that they do not want their client to go to trial alongside surfers accused of menacing outsiders for decades to keep them from surfing their local break at Lunada Bay.
