Lawsuit that claimed ‘Stranger Things’ copying is dropped

Jeffrey Kennedy, the owner of Irish Rover Entertainment, sued Netflix in 2020, claiming copyright infringement of four screenplays he said he developed between 2007 and 2013.

Netflix Inc. and a boutique production company have agreed to drop a federal lawsuit claiming that the streaming giant ripped off the screenplay for its hit show, “Stranger Things.” The lawsuit was scheduled for a trial in Los Angeles next month.
