The California State Bar wants to go ahead with its trial against John C. Eastman — even though Eastman is now facing criminal charges in Georgia. In an opposition motion filed last week, the bar argued Eastman’s trial should not be delayed because he was not then a criminal defendant. At that point he was an unindicted co-conspirator in the federal case filed against former President Trump.
