Gun show promoter appeals ban citing Supreme Court
The dispute concerns three different laws passed by the state Legislature banning sales of firearms and ammunition at Del Mar Fairgrounds, Orange County Fairgrounds, and as of this year, all state-owned property.




Promoters of a gun show that had been held at Del Mar Fairgrounds before the passage of a law that barred the sale of firearms on state-owned property have appealed to the 9th U.S. Circuit of Appeals, arguing the statute violates their First and Second Amendment rights.
