Quinn Emanuel sues LA county for fees to represent ex-sheriff
Quinn Emmanuel says it had a valid contract as outside counsel for former Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who was fighting the county Board of Supervisors’ accusations that he improperly reinstated a deputy sheriff who was fired under the previous sheriff over domestic violence allegations.




Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP sued Los Angeles County and the sheriff's department to recover more than $280,000 in legal fees for representing former Sheriff Alex Villanueva in a dispute over reinstatement of a deputy.
