Tearful Lassen County judge describes stressful intra-court disputes

Judge Tony Mallery is facing Commission on Judicial Performance charges that he made co-workers feel unsafe, but he testified that is how he felt.

Continuing to testify at his disciplinary hearing, Lassen County Superior Court Judge Tony R. Mallery said Thursday that he felt “like a mountain fell on top of me” when he was told to stop coming into the courthouse because others there felt unsafe around him.
