Biomedical companies go to trial over trade secret claims

Skye Orthobiologics LLC, based in El Segundo, claims that Bryan Banman, the CEO of CTM Biomedical LLC in Florida, stole confidential information he had access to while employed by the plaintiff.

A biomedical company will defend in federal court against claims of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act violations and trade secret misappropriation brought by a rival biomedical company. The estimated eight-day trial begins Monday in Los Angeles.
