Supreme Court appoints new State Bar board leaders

Effective Sept. 22, Brandon Stallings, a Kern County deputy district attorney, will chair the bar’s board of trustees and José Cisneros, the San Francisco city and county treasurer, will become vice-chair.

The State Bar Board of Trustees will be under new leadership as of Sept. 22 with the appointment of a new chair and vice-chair by the state Supreme Court on Thursday.

Brandon Stallings, a Kern County deputy district attorney, replaces Chair Ruben Duran, an Ontario partner at Best Best & Krieger LLP.
