On Monday, Sacramento appealed a federal judge’s temporary restraining order that required the city to stop clearing homeless camps during a heat wave.
The city asked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to review Judge Troy L. Nunley’s Aug. 16 order extending the prohibition until Aug. 31.
Nunley also required the city to allow representatives from the Sacramento Homeless Union to tour the Miller Park shelter...
