City asks Supreme Court to overturn anti-camping ruling
The Grants Pass petition follows a hotly disputed 9th Circuit ruling — in which 13 active judges, all appointees of Republican presidents, along with four senior judges — vehemently objected to the majority decision not to reconsider the case en banc.




Attorneys for the city of Grants Pass, Oregon filed a writ of certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday challenging a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision banning anti-camping ordinances in the city due to inadequate shelter space.
