ByteDance says plaintiff’s forgery claims hurt his credibility
ByteDance’s counsel, Charles Thompson of Greenberg Traurig LLP, cited two documents which bear signatures that plaintiff Yintao Yu “does not and cannot deny the authenticity of.” Yu’s attorney, Charles Jung of Nassiri & Jung LLP, says he does deny it.




Attorneys for ByteDance Inc., the parent company of TikTok, denied claims by a former executive that his signature on an arbitration agreement in his employee contract raised “red flags.”
The company argued that the plaintiff has hurt his credibility by insinuating forgery in a new opposition brief filed Friday.
