Discipline sought against lawyer in loan forgiveness scheme

Gregory Trimarche denied all the allegations of illegal activity or misconduct — including charges of assisting or inducing others to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct and the Telemarketing Sales Rule.

A Costa Mesa attorney, Gregory D. Trimarche, was accused in discipline proceedings of setting up a telemarketing operation to match four attorneys with students across the U.S. seeking help to reduce their loan debts, the State Bar announced Monday.
