Claim: Online hospitality platform misclassifies workers
“Qwick merely provides an online platform for facilitating connections between freelancers and businesses,” the company states.
San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu filed a new lawsuit Thursday accusing Qwick Inc., an online hospitality staffing platform, of misclassifying its workers as independent contractors.”
