Users of online therapy platform say information was shared

On its website, the platform maintains that it adheres to all applicable confidentiality, privacy and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards and all contact information that users provide is kept strictly confidential.

A Palo Alto based online therapy and chat app was sued by users, who say the platform promised to not share personal information with other businesses for marketing but secretly shared with Google LLC via Google Analytics.
