Bar needs more ethics rule revisions, Supreme Court says
The Board of Trustees’ Conflict of Interest Codes proposal “fails to provide reasonable assurance that all foreseeable potential conflict of interest situations will be disclosed or prevented,” the state Supreme Court said.




The State Bar Board of Trustees must try again to revise their 27-year-old conflict of interest code because their proposal is neither specific or extensive enough, the California Supreme Court instructed on Thursday.
