Google defeats claw-back attempt for mistakenly shared document

Los Angeles County Judge Randolph M. Hammock rejected ReactX’s claim that the document, written by a head staffer at the company in collaboration with counsel, constituted privileged attorney work product.

Google LLC defeated an attempt by a former affiliate to claw back discovery against claims of misappropriating intellectual property.

The plaintiff said it mistakenly shared privileged attorney work product, an argument that a Los Angeles judge rejected.
