LA court reporter hiring is stagnant, incentives hiked
Despite the first round of incentives in February, court reporter vacancies “have remained relatively unchanged, with the number of court reporters leaving court service continuing to outpace the number of new court reporters entering court service,” the court stated.




Six months after establishing finder’s fees, signing and retention bonuses to retain court reporters, departures outpace hires and the Los Angeles County Superior Court doubled several of those offerings on Tuesday.
