Tentative deal reached in Google Play antitrust case
Lawyers for Google, the putative class of 21 million consumers, and the State of Utah told U.S. District James J. Donato that the settlement is subject to approval by 52 attorneys general and Alphabet’s board of directors.




Google LLC and parent company Alphabet Inc. tentatively settled a $4.7 billion antitrust lawsuit claiming Google Play unfairly monopolized the app distribution market, its attorneys notified the court.
