LA judge admonished for incivility and absences
Superior Court judge Emily T. Spear stated she did not know that judges were expected to be at the courthouse during court hours and she did not know she needed to obtain permission to work from home, the Commission on Judicial Performance said.




A Los Angeles County judge was publicly admonished on Wednesday for unexplained absences from court, manipulating her calendar for personal benefit, discourtesy to her colleagues and supervising judge, the Commission on Judicial Performance announced.
