Meta and Facebook users asked a federal judge Thursday for final approval of the largest ever privacy class action settlement -- at $725 million. If approved it will resolve the litigation that arose from the 2018 revelation that data mining firm Cambridge Analytica harvested up to 87 million Facebook users' information without consent for political advertising.
