Former State Bar chief loses 3rd try at dropping ethics charges
State Bar Court Judge Yvette Roland ordered a Nov. 29 trial for Joseph L. Dunn on charges he misled the board of directors about financing of a 2014 trip to Mongolia.




A judge denied for a third time former State Bar executive director Joseph L. Dunn’s motion to drop charges that he misled the State Bar about how agency funds would be used in a 2014 trip to Mongolia.
The trial, which was originally scheduled for Sept. 27, has been moved to Nov. 29 due to counsel scheduling conflicts, Bar Court Judge Yvette Roland said during a status conference Monday.
