Officials in Los Angeles are neglecting homeless veterans, suit says

“It’s quite a journey for the court, looking through this spaghetti of bureaucracies trying to interact at the expenditure of time,” U.s. district Judge James O. Carter said.

The U.S. government and local authorities neglected their duty to provide housing to homeless veterans, especially those with mental and behavioral impairments, an attorney with Public Counsel argued Monday before a federal judge in Los Angeles.
