Courthouses named for 2 former Supreme Court justices
The under-construction Sacramento County downtown courthouse will be named for retired Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye and the appellate courthouse in Santa Ana will be named for the late Cruz Reynoso, a former Supreme Court justice.





The Judicial Council voted Tuesday to name the new Sacramento County courthouse after retired Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, who commented that her name on the building "reflects all the great people who worked with me to make justice in California possible and fairer" during her 12 years on the state Supreme Court, appellate and superior court.
