Judge OKs $225M Juul settlement, but delays fee award
The judge did not award attorney fees because the parties could not reach an agreement. Plaintiffs’ counsel had requested up to 30% of the total settlement fund, or $76.5 million, and up to $13 million in costs.




A federal judge granted final approval for a $225 million settlement to resolve claims between Juul Labs Inc. and people who bought a Juul product before Dec. 6 and suffered alleged economic loss.
