Judge asks: Why 700 pages on question not in motion?

The plaintiffs want the court to enjoin Google from continuing to collect information from the more than 6,000 health care providers around the country who use its services. The company argues that an injunction would be infeasible and burdensome for Google and the health care providers.

A federal judge in San Francisco criticized the motion practice of the lead counsel for anonymous plaintiffs suing Google LLC over claimed tracking of their private health information during a hearing Thursday on the plaintiffs’ preliminary injunction request.
