LA judge wont remove ACLU from deputy gangs case
“The court is unable to decipher what interests will be injured … assuming there was a cognizable injury, the motion is nevertheless not supported by any legal basis,” LA Superior Court Judge Serena R. Murillo wrote in a tentative ruling Monday.




A judge tentatively denied Monday a motion by sheriff’s deputies to remove two ACLU attorneys as co-plaintiffs’ counsel because of a conflict of interest in a lawsuit against the county regarding claims about deputy gangs.
