Summary judgment for Qualcomm in antitrust consumer class action

“We are pleased that the court has resolved these baseless consumer class actions, which were brought on the heels of the FTC’s complaint against Qualcomm more than six years ago,” Ann Chaplin, Qualcomm’s general counsel and corporate secretary, said in a statement.

Qualcomm Inc. was granted summary judgment in multidistrict antitrust litigation that accused the semiconductor company of leveraging its market power to artificially inflate cellphone prices.
