McKinsey & Co asked for preliminary approval of two settlements totaling $230 million to resolve lawsuits from school districts, local counties and cities that sued the marketing consulting firm for a claimed role in the opioid epidemic.
The cases are far from over, a plaintiffs’ attorney said Wednesday, listing several more companies that will be sued.
